Quickmons_dirty_little_slots makes 1:64 resin slot car bodies (about the size of a Hotwheels/Matchbox car) for AFX slot car chassis. Dave began making these bodies a few years ago as no commercial Holden Commodore or Ford Falcon 1:64 slot cars are available. He wanted a few V8 Supercars to race so decided to make his own.

Dave casts these bodies using Aldax CraftCast quick setting polyurethane resin and have recently started to use Aldax Crystal Cast clear epoxy resin to try and achieve clear windows. The attached pictures show a few of his bodies in raw resin cast and with their final paint and decals applied.

Although Dave started casting these bodies with the intention to sell them, he has yet to get to that point. Recently he invested in a vacuum chamber for degassing the silicone and resins during the moulding and casting processes in an effort to improve the final product and move closer to hopefully selling some of his bodies in both raw and finished states.
